This is Cupcake. I biked up to her out in the middle of nowhere and discovered that
she was writing in her "Morning Pages" journal (this is an exercise from the
book The Artist's Way which I
had also read.) She invited me to sit down and journal
with her.
Of course I accepted. (Rule #2: Always carry a notepad.)
While neither of us felt certain that this Morning Pages exercise always leads to
inspiration, I found that doing it with Cupcake actually did.
